On April 4th, our school attended the Oregon Green school summit at the Oregon Gardens, represented by Vincent DeDona, Jackson Conrad, Kira Bailey, Jayden DeWitt, and Ms. Watts. We shared our experiences from becoming a green school, and came back with even more ideas to add to our school in order to improve our community. So far, we’ve added water and milk dispensers, started using reusable forks and spoons, and made a large school worm bin. In the future we wish to invest in a natural energy source, reduce our energy and water usage, and get more use out of our garden.
