2025–2026 SFSD Classified Employees of the Year

Posted Date: 03/06/26 (04:58 PM)

What a wonderful way to wrap up National Classified Appreciation Week in the Silver Falls School District!

Today, Superintendent Kim Kellison visited several of our schools to personally surprise this year’s Classified Employees of the Year at their sites. These incredible staff members represent the heart of our schools and the essential work our classified employees do every day to support students, staff, and families across the district.

Please join us in celebrating our 2025–2026 SFSD Classified Employees of the Year:

Terry Mills – Silverton High School Custodian
Terry has served Silver Falls since 2013 and is known for her friendly attitude, strong work ethic, and constant willingness to help. She plays a key role in keeping Silverton High School clean, safe, and welcoming for everyone who walks through the doors each day.

Kriston Norris – Mark Twain Elementary Special Needs Support Specialist
Since 2010, Kriston has made a tremendous impact supporting students with diverse learning and behavioral needs. She works alongside teachers and instructional assistants to build systems, provide training, and help students succeed with compassion, patience, and high expectations.

Natalia Escobar – Sequoia Falls Academy Lead Office Specialist
Since 2020, Natalia has been a vital connection point for students and families. She creates a welcoming environment, helps students navigate challenges, and supports families through translation and resources so they feel connected to our schools.

Congratulations to Terry, Kriston, and Natalia — and thank you to all of our classified employees for the incredible difference you make in the lives of our students every day.
